October, as a brand

Welcome to October!

Things have been quite busy here at the studio, coming off of some sweet, slow days at the end of summer. Do you also feel like the world suddenly picks up speed this time of year?

Some highlights lately:

+ A Sunday trip to the Whitney museum with some of the amazing women in my mastermind group - reminding me I need to get out from behind my desk and go experience art IRL more often, and also how much I love being part of a group of like-minded women business owners who fuel my inspiration/know how to commiserate over a glass of wine.

+ Starting a new mentoring program to work on elevating my portfolio and website - I’m a huge believer in continued learning and support, at every stage of business.

+ Booking a trip to Los Angeles for this month - send all the recs please!

+ On a personal note, getting engaged! On a design note, getting to wear the antique Art Deco ring of my dreams.

I’ve also been spending a lot more time working on my blog and Pinterest lately, and I’m loving Tailwind and its automation/community features. Its UX is kind of atrocious, but once you get a hang of it, it’s a really useful tool.

I can’t wait to share more about some of the projects I’m working on as well…once they’re live!

And now, here’s my October brand board:

Smells Like

Pumpkin Spice everything (add to these pancakes, to these muffins and swap pumpkin for banana, to cashew milk + pumpkin spice tea + a date/stevia for a healthy PSL)

Feels Like

Lacing up new boots, choosing the bouquet of dried flowers, daydreaming about Halloween costumes
